Undergraduate

The School through its departments offer tailored undergraduate programmes designed to meet emerging and ever-rising demands of technology professionals.  All our programmes are approved by the Commission of the University Education (CUE) and are regularly reviewed and updated to meet the dynamism of the technology world. The School endeavors to produce professionals who are highly skilled, ethical and flexible to work in all Technology related industries ranging from Computer Security, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Data Science and Communication and Journalism

Admissions

Admission for postgraduate degree programmes is done throughout the year for January, May and September intakes. Application is done online through the Online Application System: https://admission.must.ac.ke/

Admission Criteria

To be admitted to the Bachelors Programmes, the applicant needs to meet at least the following requirements;

  1. KCSE mean grade C+ or equivalent as approved by the KNQA
  2. Diploma of Meru University of Science and Technology or other recognized institutions and an aggregate of C in KCSE or its equivalent

The School offers the following Undergraduate Programmes;

Bachelor of Commerce K.C.S.E with a minimum grade of C+ (plus) and a minimum of C (plain) in both Mathematics and English
OR;
Diploma in a relevant discipline with Credit pass from KNEC, KASNEB or any institution recognized by MUST Senate.
Bachelor of Procurement & Logistics Management
Bachelor of Business Administration
Bachelor of Co-operative Management
Bachelor of Science in Economics

Bachelor of Science in Finance

 

 

 Be a holder of K.C.S.E. (or equivalent examination) certificate with a minimum aggregate of C+ (plus) and a minimum of C (plain) in both Mathematics and English.
OR;
Be a holder of K.A.C.E. certificate with a minimum of two principal passes and subsidiary pass and a minimum of credit pass in Mathematics and English.
OR;
Be a holder of a diploma in a relevant discipline from an institution recognised by the University Senate.
OR;
Be a holder of any other qualification accepted by the University Senate as equivalent to any of the above.
Bachelor of Science in Human Resource Management Be a holder of K.C.S.E. (or equivalent examination) certificate with a minimum aggregate of C+ (plus) or its equivalent as determined by the Kenya National Examination Council;
OR;
Be a holder of K.A.C.E certificate with a minimum of two principal passes and a subsidiary pass and a minimum of Credit pass in Mathematics and English.
OR;
Be a holder of a Diploma in a relevant discipline from an institution recognized by the University Senate.
OR;
Be a holder of any other qualification in Business from accredited institutions and programmes.
Bachelor of Science in Applied Accounting Be a holder of K.C.S.E. (or equivalent examination) certificate with a minimum aggregate of C+ (plus) and a minimum of C (plain) in both Mathematics and English.
OR;
Be a holder of K.A.C.E. certificate with a minimum of two principal passes and subsidiary pass and a minimum of credit pass in Mathematics and English.
OR;
Be a holder of a diploma in a relevant discipline from an institution recognised by the University Senate.
OR;
Be a holder of any other qualification accepted by the University Senate as equivalent to any of the above.
Bachelor of Science in Economics and Statistics

Be holder of KCSE (or equivalent examination) certificate with a minimum aggregate of C+ and a minimum of C in both Mathematics and English.

OR;

Be a holder of K.A.C.E certificate with a minimum of two principal passes and subsidiary pass and a minimum of credit pass in Mathematics and English.

OR;

Be a holder of a Diploma in a relevant discipline from an institution recognized by the University Senate.

OR;

Be a holder of any other qualification accepted by the University Senate as equivalent to any of the above
Bachelor of Science in E-Commerce

Be holder of KCSE (or equivalent examination) certificate with a minimum aggregate of C+.

OR;

Diploma in a relevant discipline with Credit pass from KNEC, KASNEB or any institution recognized by MUST Senate.

OR;

Be a holder of any other qualification accepted by the University Senate as equivalent to any of the above
